How It Works

VIN is open to accredited investors only. (To be considered an accredited investor, a person must have an annual income exceeding $200,000, or $300,000 combined income if married, for the last two years with expectation of earning the same or higher income in the current year or they must have a net worth exceeding $1 million, either individually or jointly with their spouse.)

VIN members may invest in companies in the VIC ecosystem at any stage of development from new startup to nearing exit.

There is a $30,000/year minimum investment commitment.

There is a $5,000 minimum investment option for automated investments  and a $10,000 minimum investment per invested company for individually selected investments.

Investments are placed in a holding company that pools together the investments made into a given portfolio company from the individual VIN members.

There are no management fees extracted from the invested funds.

A 20% carried interest applies after invested capital is returned to investor in each given entity.

Every investment opportunity offered in VIN is vetted by participating sophisticated investors and provides high upside relative to the risk at an attractive valuation.
